Accknowledge Accounting’s web-based (not just web-enabled)
software was developed entirely in South Africa and is a first for
browser-accessible accounting.
    Development company, AccKnowledge Systems (Pty) Ltd,
applied time and financial resources to comprehensive
programming and snagging of this product before release
into the marketplace.
    At management level, an intimate knowledge of both the theoretical system and practical application of software relating to this industry, served the development team well when building Accknowledge. Senior management members are responsible for authoring the Brilliant Accounting manual entitled "From the Classroom — Brilliant Accounting".

•••  LISTENING TO CLIENTS
When AccKnowledge Systems decided to develop his own application, they had heard from clients and asked them to provide ideas of what an ideal world would be and what some of the shortcomings were with current systems. The company has strived to include these requests as far as possible.
    Technological developments and refinements were built in quickly as the product was developed, with the programmers challenging themselves to see how many client requests were possible.
